A disclaimer for clarity: I am not, nor do I intend to be, a medical professional of any kind; a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, counsellor or psychologist. My profession is loosely a ’creative’ and more specifically a creative director and/or a writer and director. The importance of this is not so much what I do, but what I have observed in the people around me during my creative endeavours around the world. I am uneasy with the stigma of a philosophical ‘tag’ as I like to stay open minded, but if you must, I am likely to fit mostly into the ‘humanist’ category. My ideology does not respond to formal studies or any singular intellectual hero, but to my observations, feelings, and interpretations. I am a nobody in academia with nothing to my name, but I am honest, open, and free from doctrine, making efforts to avoid any confirmation bias. I would hope therefore that we could share this positivity and openness in the interest of you liberating your creativity and ‘letting it flow’! 😊
